Work with us

Homecare Voices connects members of our not-for-profit community with institutions wishing to engage the views and expertise of domiciliary care workers. We have worked with the Skills for Care, the Living Wage Foundation, King's College London, University of Leeds, University of York, University of Birmingham, University of Kent and more.

Whether it's promoting a specific event, initiative or study to our members, facilitating co-hosted events or connecting you with individual members of our community, homecare workers are here and ready to share our insights from the ground level of care in the community.

Partnership principles

Fair and equal access

All members are invited to participate in partnership-based work according to a fair inclusion policy.

A dignified relationship

Every contribution is valid and valued. No competitions, no prize draws. Where an individual's time is engaged, an involvement fee makes it possible to book the time off work.

No blurred lines

We respectfully refrain from partnerships of a paid nature with care providing organisations and bodies that represent them. This is reflected in all aspects of our work, including in our leadership and funding.

Partner feedback

"The workshop we organised with Homecare Voices exceeded our expectations across multiple areas.

The evidence gathered during the research session delivered exceptional value through the depth and quality of insights generated. This would not have been possible without the support of Homecare Voices.

Throughout our planning process, Homecare Voices (and Rachel Kelso) demonstrated very high organisational and strategic standards.

The systematic approach to project management, clear communication, and attention to detail was really appreciated and made working with Homecare Voices a delight.

The high-quality, insightful contributions from the participants of the research project were powerful. They add value both to the immediate project we are working on, as well as in the long-term to our strategic direction.

We would not hesitate to work with Homecare Voices again (and in fact have already secured another project) and enthusiastically recommend them to other organisations seeking partnerships that deliver both immediate insights and long-term strategic value and impact."
